Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of NLG 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for NLG 6,436.10 (€ 3,015.21). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paulus van Hillegaert I achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Siege Of 'S-Hertogenbosch, Viewed From The Encampment At Vught in June last year with an auction result of USD 63,000.00 (€ 60,177.67).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von NLG 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für NLG 6.436,10 (€ 3.015,21) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paulus van Hillegaert I erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Siege Of 'S-Hertogenbosch, Viewed From The Encampment At Vught im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 63.000,00 (€ 60.177,67).
