Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2007 Sothebys in Milan held the auction 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture, which included the work Ritratto Di Mario Galli by Paulo Ghiglia. The price achieved of EUR 600.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Paulo Ghiglia have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Signora elegante in interno in December 2003 with an auction result of EUR 3,472.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2007 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ritratto Di Mario Galli von Paulo Ghiglia zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 600,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paulo Ghiglia auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Signora elegante in interno im Dezember 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.472,00.
