This artwork by Paulo Gagarin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March 2015. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Bananier sold for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 2,246.65) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paulo Gagarin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Flamboyant, which sold at auction in March 2015 for GBP 4,000.00 (€ 5,530.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Paulo Gagarin erzielte im März 2015 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Bananier für GBP 1.625,00 (€ 2.246,65) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Paulo Gagarin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Flamboyant beobachtet, die im März 2015 für GBP 4.000,00 (€ 5.530,21) versteigert wurde.
