Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Phillips in New York held the auction 20th c. & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session, which included the work Klaun by Paulina Olowska. The price achieved of USD 62,500.00 (€ 53,083.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paulina Olowska - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ela, which sold at auction in November 2016 for USD 112,500.00 (€ 106,352.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th c. & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Klaun von Paulina Olowska zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 53.083,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Paulina Olowska mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ela beobachtet, die im November 2016 für USD 112.500,00 (€ 106.352,81) versteigert wurde.
