Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2016 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work The Mask by Paul Van Hoeydonck. The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Van Hoeydonck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Double Figure in April 2011 with an auction result of EUR 24,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2016 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Mask von Paul Van Hoeydonck zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Van Hoeydonck auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Double Figure im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 24.750,00.
