Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 1,024.00 (€ 925.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Strand achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Akeley Motion Picture Camera, New York, 1922 in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 783,750.00 (€ 595,192.89).
