Platinum print, printed posthumously in 1994; debossed with the Paul Strand Archive stamp, dated in pencil, editioned '6/150' and signed by Anthony Montoya, director of the Paul Strand Archive, in pencil in the margin, framed; together with the accompanying cloth folio with gilt credit and title.

Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tailor's Apprentice, Luzzara, Italy by Paul Strand was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in December this year. The price achieved of USD 1,024.00 (€ 925.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Strand achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Akeley Motion Picture Camera, New York, 1922 in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 783,750.00 (€ 595,192.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tailor's Apprentice, Luzzara, Italy von Paul Strand kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.024,00 (€ 925,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Strand erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Akeley Motion Picture Camera, New York, 1922 im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 783.750,00 (€ 595.192,89).
