The work A Moment Of Repose by Paul Sieffert was sold in the Erotic: Passion & Desire Online auction at Sothebys in London in February 2019. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,665.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Sieffert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French Reclining Nude in March 2008 with an auction result of GBP 41,300.00 (€ 51,883.04).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.665,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Sieffert auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit French Reclining Nude im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 41.300,00 (€ 51.883,04).
