A top price for Paul Sandby Munn - as previously expected
The work View of the Pantheon, Stourhead Gardens, Wiltshire by Paul Sandby Munn was sold in the 300 Years Of British Drawings auction at Christies in London in December 2020. The price achieved of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,234.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,800.00 – 2,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, View of the Pantheon, Stourhead Gardens, Wiltshire is the most expensive artwork by Paul Sandby Munn that we have observed at auctions so far.
