It achieved a price of USD 88,200.00 (€ 78,665.72), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 47%. Admittedly, works by Paul Revere have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A View of Part of the Town of Boston in New-England and Brittish Ships of War: Landing Their Troops! 1768 (Brigham Plate 24) in January last year with an auction result of USD 721,800.00 (€ 643,774.53).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 88.200,00 (€ 78.665,72) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 47%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Revere auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A View of Part of the Town of Boston in New-England and Brittish Ships of War: Landing Their Troops! 1768 (Brigham Plate 24) im Januar letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 721.800,00 (€ 643.774,53).
