Sold at the upper estimate price
In January 2012 Christies in London held the auction The Ski Sale Including a Private Collection of Swiss Posters, which included the work Combloux by Paul Ordner. The auction ended at the price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,620.78), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Ordner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Combloux, which sold at auction in November 2018 for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,754.79).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Januar 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Ski Sale Including a Private Collection of Swiss Posters durch, in der auch die Arbeit Combloux von Paul Ordner zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.620,78) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Ordner mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Combloux beobachtet, die im November 2018 für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.754,79) versteigert wurde.
