Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Paul Neagu could be acquired at Artcurial in October last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Low Hyphen - 1977 changed hands for EUR 1,443.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Neagu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Concept, Collector, Connexion, with 39 Cells in December last year with an auction result of GBP 6,375.00 (€ 7,196.75).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Paul Neagu konnte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Artcurial für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online wechselte die Arbeit Low Hyphen - 1977 für EUR 1.443,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Neagu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Concept, Collector, Connexion, with 39 Cells im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.375,00 (€ 7.196,75).
