Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Paul Mount achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in July 2015. In the Modern British & Irish Art auction, the work Toscanella sold for GBP 11,250.00 (€ 15,948.72) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Mount have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rhapsody in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 64,900.00 (€ 78,098.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Paul Mount erzielte im Juli 2015 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British & Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Toscanella für GBP 11.250,00 (€ 15.948,72) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Mount auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rhapsody im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 64.900,00 (€ 78.098,46).
