Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Duck Girl by Paul Manship was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2015. The price achieved of USD 298,000.00 (€ 282,143.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 200,000.00 – 400,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Manship have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Indian Hunter And His Dog in December 2013 with an auction result of USD 1,565,000.00 (€ 1,135,786.34).

Die Arbeit Duck Girl von Paul Manship kam im November 2015 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 298.000,00 (€ 282.143,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 200.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Manship auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Indian Hunter And His Dog im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.565.000,00 (€ 1.135.786,34).
