In the American Art auction, the work Dancer and Gazelles sold for USD 967,500.00 (€ 861,071.56) - well above the upper estimate of USD 500,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Paul Manship; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Indian Hunter And His Dog sold at auction in December 2013 with the realized price of USD 1,565,000.00 (€ 1,135,786.34).
