Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Briseis by Paul Manship was sold in the American Art auction at Christies in New York in May 2017. The price achieved of USD 100,000.00 (€ 88,999.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Manship achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Indian Hunter And His Dog in December 2013 with an auction result of USD 1,565,000.00 (€ 1,135,786.34).
