Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Guards Outside Buckingham Palace by Paul Maze was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in March this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,375.00 (€ 7,252.79). Admittedly, works by Paul Maze have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Changement De La Garde Au Palais, Londres in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 20,400.00 (€ 30,294.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Guards Outside Buckingham Palace von Paul Maze wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.375,00 (€ 7.252,79) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Maze auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Changement De La Garde Au Palais, Londres im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.400,00 (€ 30.294,64).
