The »bidding war« ended at HKD 137,500.00 (€ 13,635.66), 72% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Paul Husner; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Sanur And Beyond: Nature And Religion At Blanjong Temple II sold at auction in November 2013 with the realized price of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 16,591.94).
