The auction ended at the price of DKK 2,000.00 (€ 268.63), which exactly corresponded to the pre-set estimate of DKK 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Gadegaard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled, 1955 in August this year with an auction result of DKK 34,000.00 (€ 4,560.94).

Die Arbeit Composition von Paul Gadegaard kam im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von DKK 2.000,00 (€ 268,63) entsprach exakt dem Schätzpreis von DKK 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Gadegaard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled, 1955 im August diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 34.000,00 (€ 4.560,94).
