In October 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Two Centuries: American Art, which included the work The Prophet by Paul F. Keene Jr.. The »bidding war« ended at USD 16,380.00 (€ 14,179.36), 64% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Paul F. Keene Jr.; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Black Economic Life sold at auction in November 2021 with the realized price of USD 22,680.00 (€ 20,093.91).

Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Two Centuries: American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Prophet von Paul F. Keene Jr. zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 16.380,00 (€ 14.179,36) und damit 64% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Paul F. Keene Jr.; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Black Economic Life im November 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 22.680,00 (€ 20.093,91).
