Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2009 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Modern Art, which included the work La Basilique by Paul-Emile Colin. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 638.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Paul-Emile Colin have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2009 the work Nature Morte A La Jatte Et Aux Fruits was auctioned for EUR 765.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2009 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Basilique von Paul-Emile Colin zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 638,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Paul-Emile Colin konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2009 die Arbeit Nature Morte A La Jatte Et Aux Fruits für EUR 765,00 versteigert.
