Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Paul Éluard achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in March this year. In the La Révolution Surréaliste auction, the work La nourrice des oiseaux sold for EUR 3,187.50 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Éluard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Facile. Poèmes de Paul Eluard. Photographies de Man Ray. Paris : Editions GLM, [22 juin 1935.|AID40437] in October 2017 with an auction result of EUR 823,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Paul Éluard erzielte im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion La Révolution Surréaliste wurde die Arbeit La nourrice des oiseaux für EUR 3.187,50 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Éluard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Facile.
