In July 2008 Christies in London held the auction Nineteenth Century European Art, which included the work On the way to the ball by Paul Edouard Rosset-Granger. The price achieved of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,746.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Other works by Paul Edouard Rosset-Granger have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2021 the work An Early Departure was auctioned for USD 4,032.00 (€ 3,490.30).
