The work The Pianists by Paul Colin was worth GBP 60,000.00 (€ 67,678.18) to a buyer in November 2018. This price was achieved in the auction Annabel's at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Paul Colin; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Le Tumulte Noir sold at auction in November 2018 with the realized price of GBP 118,750.00 (€ 133,946.39).
