Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction The European Art Sale, which included the work Looking Across the Seine by Paul-Charles Chocarne-Moreau. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,300.00 (€ 5,453.60). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul-Charles Chocarne-Moreau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French Qui C'Etait? (Who Was It?) in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 50,900.00 (€ 71,273.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion The European Art Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Looking Across the Seine von Paul-Charles Chocarne-Moreau zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.300,00 (€ 5.453,60) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul-Charles Chocarne-Moreau erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French Qui C'Etait? (Who Was It?) im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.900,00 (€ 71.273,17).
