Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year Bonhams held the auction Home & InteriorsCollections, which included the work Caché-Caché! by Paul-Charles Chocarne-Moreau. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,650.00 (€ 6,929.35) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul-Charles Chocarne-Moreau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French Qui C'Etait? (Who Was It?) in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 50,900.00 (€ 71,273.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Home & InteriorsCollections durch, in der auch die Arbeit Caché-Caché! von Paul-Charles Chocarne-Moreau zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.650,00 (€ 6.929,35) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul-Charles Chocarne-Moreau erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French Qui C'Etait? (Who Was It?) im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.900,00 (€ 71.273,17).
