Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Paul César Helleu could be acquired at Christies in London in July 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British and European Art auction, the work Portrait of Constance Herbert, second Marchioness of Ripon changed hands for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,465.88) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul César Helleu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait De Madame Helleu À L'Ombrelle in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 793,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Paul César Helleu konnte im Juli 2021 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion British and European Art wechselte die Arbeit Portrait of Constance Herbert, second Marchioness of Ripon für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.465,88) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul César Helleu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait De Madame Helleu À L'Ombrelle im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 793.500,00.
