Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La penseuse by Paul César Helleu was sold in the British and European Art auction at Christies in New York in July this year. The price achieved of GBP 12,600.00 (€ 14,700.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul César Helleu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait De Madame Helleu À L'Ombrelle in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 793,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La penseuse von Paul César Helleu wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion British and European Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.600,00 (€ 14.700,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul César Helleu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait De Madame Helleu À L'Ombrelle im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 793.500,00.
