It achieved a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,795.31), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul César Helleu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait De Madame Helleu À L'Ombrelle in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 793,500.00.

Die Arbeit Portrait de femme au chapeau à plumes von Paul César Helleu kam im Juli 2021 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.795,31) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul César Helleu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait De Madame Helleu À L'Ombrelle im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 793.500,00.
