The price achieved of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,180.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Rialto Bridge, Venice is the most expensive artwork by Paul Bret that we have observed at auctions so far.
