Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2009 a collector was able to acquire the work A view across the Grand Canal towards Santa Maria della Salute, Venice; and Figures outside a coastal town by Paul Bret for GBP 375.00 (€ 404.38). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Bret - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Rialto Bridge, Venice, which sold at auction in April 2013 for GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,180.06).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2009 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A view across the Grand Canal towards Santa Maria della Salute, Venice; and Figures outside a coastal town von Paul Bret für GBP 375,00 (€ 404,38) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Bret mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Rialto Bridge, Venice beobachtet, die im April 2013 für GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.180,06) versteigert wurde.
