Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Pair Of Andirons, Modern by Paul Belvoir was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 3,907.18) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Belvoir - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Fire Surround2014, which sold at auction in November 2020 for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,256.51).

Die Arbeit A Pair Of Andirons, Modern von Paul Belvoir kam im November 2020 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 3.907,18) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Belvoir mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Fire Surround2014 beobachtet, die im November 2020 für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 13.256,51) versteigert wurde.
