Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Composition by Paul-Armand Gette was auctioned at Artcurial in April 2014, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 500.00 – 700.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 455.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul-Armand Gette achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stances in February 2021 with an auction result of EUR 11,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Composition von Paul-Armand Gette im April 2014 bei Artcurial versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 455,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul-Armand Gette erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Stances im Februar 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.250,00.
