Auction result well in line with expectations

The work Unknown by Patrizius Kittner was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2004. The price achieved of GBP 298.75 (€ 422.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 250.00 – 350.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Patrizius Kittner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A young lady called Princess Galitzin née Moisseff (1834-1914), in off-the-shoulder blue dress, black gauze stole over her shoulders, a gem-set black choker, gold earring and bracelets, her dark hair upswept, seated in an upholstered black chair; gr in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,740.1

Die Arbeit Unknown von Patrizius Kittner kam im Dezember 2004 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 298,75 (€ 422,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 250,00 – 350,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Patrizius Kittner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A young lady called Princess Galitzin née Moisseff (1834-1914), in off-the-shoulder blue dress, black gauze stole over her shoulders, a gem-set black choker, gold earring and bracelets, her dark hair upswept, seated in an upholstered black chair; gr im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.740,13).
