Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2009 Sothebys in London held the auction The Irish Sale, which included the work Through A Window (Positano) 1955 by Patrick Swift. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 43,250.00 (€ 49,477.56), 24% above the upper estimate. Other works by Patrick Swift have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 50,900.00 (€ 73,095.75) in October 2007 for the work Olive Tree.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2009 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Irish Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Through A Window (Positano) 1955 von Patrick Swift zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 43.250,00 (€ 49.477,56) und damit 24% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Patrick Swift haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.900,00 (€ 73.095,75) im Oktober 2007 für die Arbeit Olive Tree beobachtet.
