Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Man With A Stick by Patrick O'Reilly was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2007. The price achieved of GBP 4,800.00 (€ 7,063.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Patrick O'Reilly - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Life Goes On, which sold at auction in October 2017 for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,229.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Man With A Stick von Patrick O'Reilly kam im Mai 2007 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.800,00 (€ 7.063,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Patrick O'Reilly mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Life Goes On beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.229,16) versteigert wurde.
