A top price for Patrick Leonard - as previously expected
The work The Coming Storm, County Dublin by Patrick Leonard was sold in the A Living Legacy: Irish Art from the Collection of Brian P. Burns auction at Sothebys in London in November 2018. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,919.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Coming Storm, County Dublin is the most expensive artwork by Patrick Leonard that we have observed at auctions so far.
