Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2004 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Twentieth Century Art including Belgian Art, which included the work The Wind by Pat Andrea. The price achieved of EUR 5,975.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pat Andrea - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tajine, (Diptyque), 1990, which sold at auction in December 2012 for EUR 21,880.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2004 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Twentieth Century Art including Belgian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Wind von Pat Andrea zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.975,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Pat Andrea mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tajine, (Diptyque), 1990 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2012 für EUR 21.880,00 versteigert wurde.
