A top price for Pasquale Romanelli - as previously expected
The work Ruth by Pasquale Romanelli was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2016. It changed hands for a price of USD 68,750.00 (€ 61,742.25) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Ruth is the most expensive artwork by Pasquale Romanelli that we have observed at auctions so far.
