Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bust Of A Vestal by Pasquale Romanelli was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Sothebys in New York in February 2019. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 32,500.00 (€ 28,561.39). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pasquale Romanelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ruth, which sold at auction in May 2016 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 61,742.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bust Of A Vestal von Pasquale Romanelli wurde im Februar 2019 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 32.500,00 (€ 28.561,39) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Pasquale Romanelli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ruth beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für USD 68.750,00 (€ 61.742,25) versteigert wurde.
