Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Poet and Birds by Parviz Tanavoli was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 3,780.00 (€ 4,478.28) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Parviz Tanavoli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Wall (Oh, Persepolis) in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 2,841,000.00 (€ 1,824,897.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Poet and Birds von Parviz Tanavoli kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 3.780,00 (€ 4.478,28) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00.
