Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lovers XVI by Parviz Tanavoli was auctioned at Bonhams in London in June 2021. The price achieved of GBP 25,250.00 (€ 29,422.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Parviz Tanavoli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Wall (Oh, Persepolis) in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 2,841,000.00 (€ 1,824,897.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lovers XVI von Parviz Tanavoli kam im Juni 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.250,00 (€ 29.422,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Parviz Tanavoli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Wall (Oh, Persepolis) im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.841.000,00 (€ 1.824.897,23).
