Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Paresh Maity was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2008. The price achieved of USD 13,750.00 (€ 8,699.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paresh Maity have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Morning in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 58,188.25).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Paresh Maity kam im März 2008 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 8.699,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paresh Maity auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Morning im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 58.188,25).
