Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Boats) by Paresh Maity was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in June this year. The price achieved of GBP 5,120.00 (€ 5,958.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paresh Maity have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Morning in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 58,188.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Boats) von Paresh Maity kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.120,00 (€ 5.958,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paresh Maity auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Morning im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 58.188,25).
