Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Temple by Paresh Maity for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,088.92). This price was achieved in the auction South Asian Art Online Sale at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paresh Maity achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Morning in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 58,188.25).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Temple von Paresh Maity für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.088,92) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion South Asian Art Online Sale bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paresh Maity erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Morning im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 58.188,25).
