Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Per una situazione by Paolo Scheggi was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale auction at Phillips in London in June 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 120,000.00 – 180,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 141,271.30) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paolo Scheggi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Intersuperficie Curva Bianca in May 2015 with an auction result of EUR 1,623,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Per una situazione von Paolo Scheggi wurde im Juni 2018 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 125.000,00 (€ 141.271,30) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paolo Scheggi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Intersuperficie Curva Bianca im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.623.000,00.
