In December 2017 Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Sigillo by Paolo Icaro. The result of EUR 3,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paolo Icaro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fregio 1-9, which sold at auction in December 2017 for EUR 11,000.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2017 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sigillo von Paolo Icaro zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 3.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Paolo Icaro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fregio 1-9 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2017 für EUR 11.000,00 versteigert wurde.
