Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Palette by Paolo Icaro for EUR 3,800.00. This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Art at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paolo Icaro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fregio 1-9, which sold at auction in December 2017 for EUR 11,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Palette von Paolo Icaro für EUR 3.800,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Paolo Icaro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fregio 1-9 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2017 für EUR 11.000,00 versteigert wurde.
