Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Paolo Ferdinando Quaglia achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in July 2019. In the The Pohl-Ströher Collection of Portrait Miniatures Part II auction, the work Portrait Of A Lady, Circa 1810 sold for GBP 16,250 (€ 17,841) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paolo Ferdinando Quaglia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work in July 2018 with an auction result of GBP 212,500 (€ 238,259).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Paolo Ferdinando Quaglia erzielte im Juli 2019 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Pohl-Ströher Collection of Portrait Miniatures Part II wurde die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady, Circa 1810 für GBP 16.250 (€ 17.841) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paolo Ferdinando Quaglia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit im Juli 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 212.500 (€ 238.259).
