Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Sheet Of Studies: A Pair Of Hands Holding A Glove, Camels And Figure Studies by Paolo Caliari was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 87,500.00 (€ 103,968.93) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paolo Caliari achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Allegory of The City of Venice Adoring The Madonna And Child in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 2,505,000.00 (€ 1,609,069.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Sheet Of Studies: A Pair Of Hands Holding A Glove, Camels And Figure Studies von Paolo Caliari kam im Juli 2016 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion.
