Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2018 Il Ponte held the auction Fotografia, which included the work Alicudi 2001 by Paola Pivi. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,500.00 – 5,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paola Pivi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Donkey) in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 227,000.00 (€ 203,861.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2018 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Fotografia durch, in der auch die Arbeit Alicudi 2001 von Paola Pivi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.500,00 – 5.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paola Pivi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Donkey) im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 227.000,00 (€ 203.861,70).
